The name CivCoat Consulting stands for a conjunction of two different areas of the coating industry.
First part of the name (Civ = Civil) stands for the protection of concrete.
Second part of the name (Coat = Coating) stands for the protection of steel.
I'm happy to provide you help with my broad expertise for different challenges of these two areas of the coatings industry.

My vision
My vision is to help you to reach your goals faster and more efficiently. For this I offer my knowledge gained from 25 years research and development experience with 2 component reaction systems.
In my former jobs I always most enjoyed identifying and solving technical problems. In these jobs I was able to learn a lot of hacks and tricks to solve the issues even if the solution was sometimes unconventional but always led to stable and safe solutions. I’m a practice-orientated guy with lot of theoretical knowledge but always was more convinced after the solution worked in practice. For me a development is over when it was shown on site that the product is working constantly.
Since my education as a lab technician at HÖCHST AG I was fascinated by reactive resin systems, and it became my passion to develop these kinds of systems. My interest is not only developing binder systems but also developing ready to use products and to solve issues in the production scenario of these was always part of my job and my passion!
To solve such issues, I can draw on my expertise of 25 years but always stay informed regarding new solutions, raw materials etc. I’m in a regular contact with lot of suppliers to have the latest information from the market available.
I’m also very keen to bring more sustainability and renewable raw materials into the coatings market where practical. I would like to see, when possible, more bio content in coating products to help to safeguard the future of our planet.

My values
For me transparency, honesty, frankness and trust aren’t only phrases but are the base of values which I live in business but also in private.
Of course, efficiency, reliability, speed and responsibility are also basic values for me.
Nevertheless, in my opinion, especially in these hectic times, the return to the basic human values is the basis of any good partnership.
For me it is essential that you as my customer are convinced of my expertise and my values.
